Exchanges & Refunds

If your purchase is not quite right, you can return items from your order (new and unused) within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or refund. Please contact our sales team on 01525 243655 to obtain a returns number before sending anything back.

Bike returns

Please keep the original packaging for your bike so it can be reused if you need to return it. If the box is damaged or you do not have one, we can supply a replacement at a cost of £25. Contact us to arrange this.

Bike collection service

If you would like us to arrange collection of your bike by courier, we can do this free of charge. Please note:

• Free collection is available only on bikes purchased directly from Chicken CycleKit
• International and UK non-mainland customers are responsible for return costs
• Bikes purchased through other retailers are not eligible for free collection

Delivery costs

If you paid for delivery, we will not refund the original charge unless the item was faulty or we sent the wrong product.

Damaged items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue quickly. Please:

• Keep all original packaging
• Report the damage within 24 hours of receipt
• If the packaging looks damaged when it arrives, sign for it as “damaged packaging”

When we may refuse a return

We reserve the right to refuse a return or refund if inspection shows:

• The products have been returned in an unsaleable condition
• The products appear to have been deliberately damaged
• The products have been modified from their original specification
• Damage has been caused by not following the quick start guide supplied with the bike
• Damage has been caused by not seeking advice from a qualified mechanic when needed
• The bicycle has been used for competition, commercial use or outside its intended purpose (for example, a road bike used off-road)

Exclusions

Custom-painted frames, custom sizes and special-order items cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.
